Wendy Reimann earned her Master's Degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from George Fox University. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Oregon. Wendy spent several years working for Intel Corp. and after that many years as Music Director at a Catholic Church in the Portland area.
With a lifelong desire to serve and help others, Wendy pursued a formal education in counseling. In the last 15-20 years there have been amazing breakthroughs in how our brain works and how it can be rewired at any age. This, coupled with a love of science and art brought Wendy to her current path in life. As a Catholic faith-based marriage and family therapist, Wendy believes that healing comes about by healing the relationships we have with each other in family and society.
Wendy's primary focus is client centered which means that clients drive their own process for emotional wellness.
For couples work, Wendy is certified in the Prepare and Enrich (c) program for building for building strong marriages.
For work with parents and children, Wendy uses the time tested methods of Gary Landreth and Play Therapy to help give voice to children.
Wendy also employs the healing work of Lifespan Integration in order to address and make sense of difficult life experiences that tend to affect current relationships.
Wendy was born and raised in the Northwest where she enjoys hiking, biking, singing, painting and dogs.
